Privacy Policy

LoveSVG is operated by Inmagine Lab Pte Ltd (“we”, “us”), 11 Collyer Quay, #17-00, The Arcade, Singapore 049317. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use LoveSVG, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your email address and, if you give it, your name. If you sign up with email, we store a hashed version of your password (never the password itself) and short-lived codes we email you to confirm your address or reset your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google.
  • Sessions. A record that you are signed in on a device, which ends after 30 days or when you sign out.
  • Saved projects. Editor projects you choose to save to your account, including the text and artwork in them, and a small preview.
  • Download history. Which designs and tools you download, with the machine and main option you picked (such as a box type or name style) and when. It is linked to your account when you are signed in. It never includes your words, photos or files.
  • Security records. Counters of recent sign-in attempts, emails sent and downloads, kept per IP address, account or email address, to stop abuse. They expire after a short time window.
  • Technical data. Your IP address, browser and device information in standard server and content delivery network logs, so LoveSVG works and stays secure.

What stays on your device

Photos you turn into cut files with Photo to SVG or PNG to SVG, and SVGs you open in the editor, are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. The editor keeps your working copy and settings (such as your machine and kerf) in your browser's storage. Nothing you make with the tools reaches our servers unless you save a project to your account; when you download, we only note which tool and machine you used.

How we use your information

  • To run your account, let you download designs and keep your saved projects.
  • To understand which designs and tools are popular, so we know what to make next.
  • To send you service emails: sign-up codes, email confirmation and password resets.
  • To keep LoveSVG secure and prevent abuse, including bot checks and rate limits.
  • To understand and fix problems and improve how LoveSVG performs.

We don't send marketing emails. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing LoveSVG, and compliance with legal obligations.

Search

To find designs that match what you mean, not just the exact words, the text you type into search is sent to OpenRouter, which passes it to OpenAI to turn it into numbers we can compare. Only the search text is sent, not your account or IP address. We cache the search text and its numbers for a while, not linked to you, so repeat searches are fast. Please don't type personal information into search.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are needed for LoveSVG to work: a cookie that keeps you signed in, and short-lived cookies used while you sign up, confirm your email or sign in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't sell your data. Signing in with Google takes you to Google's own sign-in page, which is subject to Google's privacy policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run LoveSVG:

  • Amazon Web Services: hosting, database, file storage and content delivery (CloudFront), in the United States, and sending our emails (Amazon SES).
  • Google: sign-in, if you choose Continue with Google.
  • Cloudflare: Turnstile, a check that the person signing up or resetting a password isn't a bot. It looks at your browser and connection, not your account.
  • OpenRouter and OpenAI: search text, as described above.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or LoveSVG. If our business is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

International transfers

We are based in Singapore, and LoveSVG is hosted in the United States. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take steps to keep it protected in line with applicable law.

Data retention

We keep your account and saved projects for as long as your account is open. You can delete saved projects in the editor at any time. Sign-in codes, sessions and security counters expire on their own. Server logs are kept for a limited time. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and saved projects, except where we must keep certain records by law. Your download history then stays only as anonymous counts, no longer linked to you.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encryption in transit, access controls and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

You can see and delete your saved projects at any time, and ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as Singapore's PDPA, the EU and UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA, including the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To use these rights, email privacy@lovesvg.com from the address on your account.

Children

LoveSVG is not directed to children under 13, and they may not create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you.
